With our all-time favourite holiday well on the way, we’ve only got one thing on our minds here at Cadbury Gifts Direct – making this Easter lip-smackingly egg-cellent, of course!

Whether this year’s holiday looks like a jam-packed party, a quiet weekend with the family, or an adults-only ‘do spent laughing and snacking, we have some fun ways to make this Easter your most memorable yet (not to mention tastiest). That’s right, you guessed it – we’re talking chocolate Easter egg decorating!

From personalised treats to cute choccy chickens, our egg decorating party ideas are sure to be popular among kids and grown-ups alike. So, without further ado, pop the kettle on, crack into your favourite Cadbury egg and let’s get into it.

Let’s Get Personal

Everyone loves a personalised treat. Everyone loves chocolate eggs. So why not combine the
two?
A simple way to get those creative juices flowing, our first Easter egg decorating idea is all about marking your territory. Perfect for adults and kids alike, all you’ll need to join in the fun is your favourite Cadbury egg (we recommend a large one to ensure you have lots of room), some decorative icing (or white chocolate) and any extra embellishments you fancy (think: sprinkles, edible flowers or even some chocolate buttons). After you’ve gathered all your supplies, it’s time to get cracking.

The concept is simple, personalise your chocolate egg with your name using coloured icing, adding cute details and flourishing touches as you go. Beginner-friendly and simple (yet fun) for kids of all ages, it’s a great way to add some arty play to your Easter day – not to mention guaranteed to make their choccy treat egg-stra special!

Love personalised goodies? Then you'll go head over heels for our personalised Dairy Milk bars. These mouth-watering chocs make fantastic Easter gifts and are super easy to
customise, too. Simply choose your treat, add their name and a heartfelt message, and we’ll do the rest. Plus, order your personalised chocolates before 4pm and enjoy super-fast next-day delivery straight to your door. How’s that for fuss-free gifting?

Strike A Pose

You’ve heard of pumpkin carving – this year, why not bring spooky season’s best game to your spring fling with our family-friendly easter egg decorating idea?

While it’s true that carving up your delicious Cadbury Easter egg would be a challenge (not to mention an absolute waste!), there are other ways to recreate the fun. So, why not gather your friends and family together for a chocolate egg decorating competition?

To play, you’ll need one chocolate egg per player and a varied selection of edible decorations, such as chocolate buttons, Cadbury Fingers, sprinkles, cake frosting/icing kits and anything else that tickles your fancy! Then, set a timer and see who can create the best-looking “egg person” in your chosen time. Afterwards, let the voting commence! The lucky winner then gets to chomp into their own delicious Easter prize – we recommend a mouth-watering chocolate hamper

Who Are You Calling A Chicken?

As iconic as the Easter bunny, cute little chickens are a surefire way to get into the spirit of spring’s most delicious holiday. So, we figured, what better way to pay homage to our fluffy friends than incorporating them into the celebrations?

A fantastic Easter egg decorating idea for adults, creating your own ‘Cadbury Choccy Chick’ is a fun and tasty way to spend your day. For this, you need one large Easter egg per person, a couple of bars of Dairy Milk, some Mini Eggs, chocolate buttons and your favourite white chocolate (plus any other finishing touches to bring your cute companion to life!).

To start decorating your Easter egg, melt the white chocolate before leaving it to cool. Once ready, use the melted chocolate to shape your chick’s beak and wings – for the gifted artists among you, why not add some feathery detailing, too? Then, pop two blobs of melted choc on your chick’s face and stick two chocolate buttons on top for eyes (feel free to add some detailing here). Next, with a knife, cut some squares of Dairy Milk into little claws and place them around the base of your egg. Finish with some Mini Eggs, and voila! A cheery little chick that’s too sweet to eat.
